Step 1: Setting up the Composition

Create a new composition with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a frame rate of 30. Set the duration to 10 seconds, which works well for this demonstration.

Step 2: Creating the Background

Add a new solid layer and name it “Background.” Apply the “4-Color Gradient” effect to the solid. Adjust the colors to your preference, with colors 3 and 4 set to black. Rotate the gradient to an angle of 240 degrees.

Step 3: Customizing the Color Gradient

Modify the position points of the color patterns to achieve the desired look for your background. Experiment with different settings to create a visually appealing gradient.

Step 4: Enhancing the Background

Apply the “Motion Tile” effect to the background layer. Increase the width to 400 and the height to 600. Enable the “Mirror Edges” option to create a seamless background. Add the “Turbulent Displace” effect and adjust the horizontal displacement settings. This effect adds an animated movement to the background.

Step 5: Animating the Background

Animate the “Amount,” “Offset,” and “Evolution” parameters of the “Turbulent Displace” effect. Increase the size and amount settings, and adjust the complexity to your liking. Set keyframes for these parameters to create an animated movement. At the end of the composition, increase the amount and change the offset turbulence to give a dynamic effect.

Step 6: Adding Smear Effect

Apply the “Smear” effect to the background layer. Adjust the “Reach” and “Radius” settings to create an interesting visual effect. This effect enhances the overall appearance of the background animation.

Step 7: Creating the Text Animation

Create a new composition named “Text Comp” to work on the text animation. Inside this composition, add a new composition for the text and name it “Text Placeholder.” Add your desired text and center-align it. Increase the font size to make it more prominent.

Step 8: Animating the Text

Add the “Animate” property to the text layer and choose “Tracking.” Use keyframes to animate the text by adjusting the tracking over time. This will create a dynamic text animation.

Step 9: Incorporating the Text

into the Main Composition Place the “Text Placeholder” composition into the “Text Comp” composition. Then, bring the “Text Comp” composition into the main composition. Now you can see the animated text in conjunction with the background animation.

Step 10: Adding Depth and Final Touches

To add depth, create a new solid layer and reduce its opacity to around 30%. Apply a subtle glow effect to the text layer. Adjust the settings to achieve the desired glow effect.
